This past November I had the privilege of exhibiting Maystone at the 2024 Bristol Watch Show, hosted by Fears. It was my very first time showing Maystone in person, and I can honestly say it was a brilliant experience from start to finish.
Walking into the venue and seeing so many familiar names in the watch world gathered together was exciting enough, but to be there representing my own brand was something truly special. As a solo founder, so much of my work usually happens behind the scenes: designing, refining, and shipping watches out to customers all over the world. Having the chance to step out from behind the screen and actually talk face-to-face with collectors, enthusiasts, and fellow watchmakers was a real highlight.
The feedback I received throughout the day was overwhelmingly positive. People took the time to try on the watches, ask thoughtful questions, and share their impressions. It was fantastic to see people connect with the design, the inspiration behind Maystone, and the overall feel of the watches on the wrist. Hearing those reactions in person was incredibly motivating and has given me even more energy as I look ahead to the future of the brand.
A personal highlight was being part of the panel discussion alongside other British watch brands. Talking openly about building Maystone and sharing a stage with brands I admire made the day even more memorable.
The Bristol Watch Show was more than just an event. It was a reminder of what makes the watch community so special. Passion, curiosity, and support were everywhere in the room, and I left feeling inspired and grateful to be part of it.
I would like to thank Fears for hosting such a brilliant show, and everyone who stopped by to chat, try on a Maystone, or share your thoughts. Meeting so many of you in person was the best part of the day.
Until next time, thank you for being part of this journey with me and Maystone.
