When I started Maystone, the goal was simple: create distinctive watches inspired by birds of prey, offer exceptional value, and build a brand that watch enthusiasts genuinely connect with.
That's why I was incredibly proud to see Maystone featured in the "Brands Quietly Outperforming" section of the latest Microbrand Watch Market Report Q1 2026 by Horologius.
Out of 481 microbrands analysed across multiple international markets, Maystone was awarded the Bronze Medal in Question 8, "The Brands Quietly Outperforming", placing third overall behind Erebus Watches and BERNY.
According to the report, this ranking was created by combining search demand, Instagram following, and brand age to identify brands generating significantly more interest than their size would typically suggest. The report describes these brands as "the underdogs the rest of the industry is about to notice."
For Maystone, the figures were particularly encouraging:
- Bronze Medal ranking
- Composite score of 56.2
- 16,600 Q1 searches
- 1,742 Instagram followers at the time of analysis
What makes this recognition especially meaningful is that Maystone is still a very young brand. Founded in 2024, I've spent the last two years focused on creating watches that stand apart from the crowd while building a passionate community of supporters around the world. The report specifically highlighted Maystone as one of the newest brands in the top 20, noting that it is generating significantly more search demand than its age and social following would predict.
As a one-person business, achievements like this are never the result of marketing budgets or large teams. They come from every customer who wears a Maystone, every review shared online, every photo posted, and every conversation at watch events.
To everyone who has supported Maystone so far, thank you.
This recognition is a reminder that we're still at the beginning of the journey. There are exciting projects ahead!
Being recognised alongside some of the most respected names in independent watchmaking is an honour. More importantly, it motivates me to keep pushing forward.
The best is still to come.
